I hope with this message my voice can be heard.

To everyone reading this message you can help make a difference. Our country CAMBODIA 🇰🇭 is currently under borderline war with Thailand. 

Sacred temples from our ancestors and UNESCO protected are being destroyed, as of now (27th July 2025) FIRE HAS NOT CEASED putting everyone still in jeopardy. Please be mindful of the news being shared and only trust trustworthy sources. We are DEFENDING OURSELVES FROM THE ATTACK on us. We are PROTECTING OUR COUNTRY.

I am not making this post to spread hate nor to shame anyone or any country. I am sharing this message because this needs to STOP. WE WANT PEACE NOT WAR. And I’m sure everyone wants that too.

Soldiers are fighting for their lives and our country, casualties are piling up, families are being shredded apart, people are fleeing their homes and safety is no longer guaranteed for anyone. We are pointed out just for our nationality and some of us are being physically attacked for being Khmer. Where has all humanity gone?

I AM PROUD TO BE KHMER. And this statement will never change. It’s in my blood, it’s in my heart.

I urge everyone to not spread false news and to not distort the truth. As human beings we shall stand for justice and for the truth.
