We, Cambodians–Americans, extend our sincere gratitude and deepest respect to Mr. Michael B. Alfaro for his unwavering support for Cambodia during the Cambodia–Thai conflict. His voice did not come from political interest or personal gain, but from true compassion, justice, and humanity.
At a time when our nation faced pressure, confusion, and fear, Mr. Alfaro stood with the Cambodian people without hesitation. He spoke when others chose silence. Though he is not Cambodian by birth, his actions have shown that real friendship has no borders. His courage became a light of hope for Cambodians both inside the country and around the world.
